Notifications
Get notified when SOptim does something. Two channels: email digests and Slack webhooks.
Email digests
Daily or weekly email summarising:
- Visitors scored
- Bot Shield blocks/challenges
- New fraud-order flags
- Disputes received (Max only)
- Top suspicious ASNs of the period
Settings → Notifications → Email digest. Send to up to 5 addresses. Choose daily (sent at 09:00 in your shop's timezone) or weekly (Mondays 09:00).
Slack webhooks
Real-time alerts to a Slack channel for events that need a human eye:
- A fraud order crosses the
holdthreshold (Grow+) - A dispute lands (Max)
- A Custom Rule with action
blockfires more than 10 times in a minute (Scale+) - Your PAYG spending cap reaches 80%
Settings → Notifications → Slack. Paste in an incoming webhook URL. We validate the URL matches https://hooks.slack.com/services/* — no other domains accepted (this prevents accidentally posting to a third-party webhook).
What we don't notify on
We deliberately don't email/Slack for every single block — that would be noise. The threshold is "this needs a human to look at it." If you want raw logs, use the Visitor Analytics CSV export.
